GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is included in the rental price?
Our charters boats are equipped with all safety and navigational equipment. It generally includes GPS, autopilot, dinghy, and all the navigation basics. Also charter price includes bedding, including pillows and blankets and a fully equipped kitchen with all kitchenware. Depending on individual ships and his specifications, many also have a bimini, sprayhood, radio player or USB. Outboard motor is included in the price of charter.
Are there any additional charges?
Deposit - A refundable security deposit to be paid upon arrival in cash or with credit cards.
If you want to avoid leaving 1000€+ of security deposit you can pay non refundable DAMAGE WAIVER for the price of:
•Yachts up to 43’ 400 €
•Yachts from 44’ to 50’ 500 €
•Yachts from 51’ + cat 600 €
Final cleaning (obligatory), fuel costs, mooring and berths places in marinas, transfers with a minibus or by car, boat supply with drinks and food ( yachts Provisions) and other extra costs such as skipper, spinnaker, hostess, cook, extra water toys, tourist tax, etc...

How can I pay for the additional charges and extras?
The tourist tax has to be paid in cash in Croatian Kuna. It is obligatory payment and you will be charged 10 HRK per person per day.
All other charges can be paid in cash (Croatian Kuna) or with a credit card (note that in Croatia AMEX is not accepted)
For all payments made by credit card, we charge an additional fee of 5% of the amount charged (including payments of bookings, all extras, and transit log).
Which licenses are needed to rent a boat?
You must have a valid skipper’s license and VHF radio license. The list of valid licenses you can find on the official Ministry of sea website.
At what time check-in and check-out starts?
Check-in starts after 17:00 on Saturday
Clients are obligatory to return to the marina on Friday, a day before the embarkation day at 18:00 latest (for our technical team to have time to do the proper check of the boat and for the diver to inspect the submerged parts of the boat)
Check out from the boat is on Saturday till 09:00
If you want to start your sailing adventure a bit earlier you can pay for the EARLY CHECK-IN (limited availability)

What are the working hours of our office?
Off season: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00

Are the vessel and crew members insured?
Yes, all boats and crew members are fully insured against possible damage-
Do I need to hire a skipper?
You do not have to hire a professional skipper if you have all the necessary licenses and experience in sailing a yacht, except in cases where the vessel is rented necessarily with a crew or with a skipper.
Who pays the skipper, hostess, or crew and food for them?
You pay for the skipper, hostess and crew as well as their food, whether you prepare your meals on board or you go to the restaurants. The price for the skipper is 1400 €/week + food Hostess 1225 €/week + food Cook 1400 €/week + food (must be booked at latest 2 weeks before charter start)
How can I get from the airport to the Marina Kaštela?
Public transportation is available. Bus route number 37 drives every 20 minutes and stops 300 meters from the Marina entrance For more convenient and faster arrival we can organize a taxi transfer for you (please contact us in advance). Prices: Airport <---> Marina Kaštela • up to 4 ppl - 35,00 € (one way) • up to 8 ppl - 45,00 € (one way) *other transfers available upon request
Can I bring a pet onboard?
Your pets are more than welcome on our boats. You will have to pay an extra fee of 100€ that includes extra cleaning.
Is there free WI-FI onboard?
All of our boats are equipped with wireless unlimited data WI-FI devices that you will collect in our office during check-in.

What is the usual price for the one-week charter?

How can I pay for my boat?
The Charter fee needs to be paid in advance, via bank transfer. Exceptionally it can be paid by credit card but with an extra 5% additional fee. Payment terms: 50% - within 7 days from the booking confirmation and 50% - 30 days before the date of the charter
Is it possible to rent a boat for a few days?
Yes, it is possible chartering a boat for a few days, but usually in the period or before or after high season, or as a last-minute if the ship is free. A normal charter period is from Saturday to Saturday. We offer one way charter Kaštela-Dubrovnik or Dubrovnik-Kaštela. In case I want to cancel my boat charter?
It is possible to cancel your charter and there are special cancelation rules that will apply and can be found in our [shortcode_media media_id=1144] The period of validity of the Contract can only be changed in agreement with the Charter Company and according to the existing possibilities.
If the Client is not able to embark on the chartered Vessel on the due date for any possible reason other than due to Force Majeure, the Client can find another user of the contracted charter services/Contract until the agreed date.
If the Client is not able to find another user of the contracted charter services, the following cancellation fees will be charged: If the trip is cancelled before 40 days prior to admission to the boat, the passenger must pay the reservation fee (first instalment). If cancelled 39-0 days before admission to the boat, the passenger must pay 100% of the charter price.
Covid 19-cancelation policy
In case of official travel restrictions in the period of the charter (14 days before the date of the charter), in Croatia or in the country from which the Client comes from, the Client can reschedule the date of the charter. This means, if Croatia closes the borders or Client’s country closes the borders , the Client can change the date of the charter to another available date in the season primary in the season 2022. The Client can change the charter to the same or different Vessel, depending on the availability of the boats or receive a voucher in the amount that has been paid by the Client. If a rebooked Vessel or week has a lower price than that was originally booked, no refund will be made. Original price will be due. If a rebooked Vessel or week has higher price than that was originally booked, the Client needs to pay the difference. The obligation of Covid 19 test before or after the trip, obligated quarantine upon return, disruptions related to transportation difficulties, Government recommendations, Company travel restrictions or similar are not reasons for rescheduling. This policy applies to new reservations made for the season 2022 (this policy is not applicable to the reservations that have already been transferred from the previous season). If for any reason the Client is not able to realise the charter (the Client who has already used the voucher or has rescheduled the charter from 2020) it is possible to reschedule the charter in the following season by paying a fixed rebooking fee of 500,00 € (non-refundable), 14 days before the departure date at the latest. The receipt of the rebooking fee confirms the cancellation of existing booking and rescheduling for the season 2023. Fixed rebooking fee is charged as a separate payment and can’t be charged from a voucher.
PROVISIONING AND MARINA FACILITES MAP OF MARINA
Does the marina have possibility to park the car and what is the price for parking?
Marina provides safe, closed and secure parking spaces few footsteps from your yacht. Marina patrons have two spacious parking lots at their disposal. The western parking lot, just off the charter area, can be used only with weekly parking passes, whereas the parking near the pools can be used for both hourly and weekly parking. You can take out a pre-paid card for the planned length of your stay at the Marina. There is no need to book a parking space. Camper vans are allowed to park in the parking lot but we do not provide water or electricity outlets. Boat trailers can be parked on the service dock premises with advance notice (sent by email). Is there a laundry service at the marina?
If you are in a hurry to get your clothes washed and dried, you can use the washer and drier near the pools with the tokens you buy at the marina or pool reception desk
Can I use the showers and other common spaces in the marina?
Showers and toilets are open and available for all visitors to use.
Is there a swimming pool or beach near Marina Kaštela?
Marina Kaštela has enriched its offer with a new complex that features a 25 m indoor swimming pool and café, as well as business units and separate sanitary facilities for boat owners. There is also a separate pool for small children. Public Beach is only 500 meters West of marina.
Is there a free WI-FI at the marina?
Marina visitors can connect to Wi-Fi free of charge. Request the access key at the reception desk or from the waiting staff while you sip your coffee in the soft breeze.
Are there any restaurants inside of marina?
There are two restaurants and pizzeria that offer something for everyone.
Where can I get provision for the ship?
In Marina Kaštela there is a medium-size supermarket where you can find all necessities, if you need a larger selection there is a big supermarket 3 minutes drive from the marina, also accessible by foot. You can do the provisions in one of the many markets or supermarkets, open markets and fish markets that are available on most islands.
Can I pre-order the necessary supplies for the yacht? You can order food through one of the delivery services. They will collect your order, even days before the embarkation date and deliver it directly to your boat or preferred place. Can I rent a car at the marina?
Car rental company Nova has its branch at the Marina. You can either rent a car on the spot or pick up a pre-booked car. You can arrange to return the car to a different location.
